Founded in 1924, the cellar bearing the same name as its founder, the German winemaker Peter Mertes, is today the first wine estate in Germany. This cellar is one of the major players on the world market and today offers a selection of wines from around the world. This success is mainly due to in -depth knowledge of the wine sector combined with a strong spirit of innovation.

the grapes ripen in a large territory located at the foot of the Andes in the "Central Valle", in Chile, where they benefit from ideal climatic conditions. The vines produce powerful wines of pleasant complexity. The central valley represents 83% of the country's wine production. It covers 400km and benefits from a Mediterranean climate.

Tasting

Pretty red dress, the nose has a bouquet evoking the wild red berries, and very ripe plum notes. On the palate, we find these notes of persistent red fruits.
