Comment

The millennial wine tradition of this region dates back to the era of the Phoenicians, who already cultivated the vine in these lands on poor ground and in the extreme climate. In recent years, the small D.O. Yecla has acquired rapid recognition for the particular character and the quality of its wines, developed from the indigenous monastrell grape variety. The designation of origin covers the town of Yecla, south-east of the peninsula, in the Murcia region. The relief of Yecla, with its deep and very permeable limestone floors, gives birth to a vineyard located at an altitude between 400 and 800 meters above sea level. Today, technology is mixed with tradition to guarantee pleasant and durable stability which generates a multitude of proposals born from the experience of oenologists of the different cellars. A rich and diversified offer capable of finding followers all over the world.
