Comment

The thousand-year-old wine-making tradition of this region dates back to the time of the Phoenicians, who already cultivated vines in these lands with poor soil and extreme climate. In recent years, the small D.O. Yecla has gained rapid recognition for the particular character and quality of its wines, made from the native Monastrell grape variety. The designation of origin covers the municipality of Yecla, in the south-east of the peninsula, in the region of Murcia. The relief of Yecla, with its deep and very permeable limestone soils, gives rise to a vineyard located at an altitude between 400 and 800 meters above sea level. Today, technology mixes with tradition to guarantee a pleasant and lasting stability which generates a multitude of proposals born from the experience of the oenologists of the different cellars. A rich and diversified offer capable of finding fans all over the world.
