Baron de Lestac is a story that began in 1986 thanks to the passion of a Bordeaux merchant deeply attached to his land. His ambition? Democratize Bordeaux by offering an accessible wine that embodies this prestigious but sometimes intimidating vineyard. A promise kept, since Baron de Lestac is today a benchmark among Bordeaux brands. For almost forty years now, this signature has been a guarantee of authenticity and quality in each vintage.

Baron de Lestac red is made from three iconic Bordeaux grape varieties. Grape varieties whose grapes are vinified with delicacy and precision, before joining the barrel cellar for aging for 6 months in American oak barrels. Allowing the subtlety of their aromas and tannins to develop, this aging as well as the delicate blending work that follows it gives this red Bordeaux a fine and elegant woodiness expressing itself in perfect balance with the fruit.

Tasting

Subtle color, it features a deep garnet color with strong brick reflections. Fine nose, it reveals a successful marriage of woody notes and red fruits. On the palate with a beautiful structure, it is distinguished by its melted and harmonious tannins which bring a pleasant velvety feel to the palate.
