Robertson is 140 km from the CAP and is known as the Wine and Roses Valley. It is characterized by cold winters and sunny summers, with average annual precipitation from 350 to 400 mm. Although summer temperatures can be raised, the winds in the Southeast have a refreshing effect on the vineyards. This allows the grapes to ripen uniformly and in perfect balance. The nights are cool and during the summer months, a mist often envelops the vineyards until the end of the morning. The dry climate and the invigorating breeze reduce the pests to the minimum, hence few treatments. Cape Dreams is a family business managed by Bunty and Wahed Khan.

Tasting

A deep and attractive dress. A typical and flavored, rich and complex pinotage with good wooded. If you are consumed young, the pinotage is fruity is perhaps fully appreciated, but it will develop with a wide and complete flavor as they are aging. An ideal companion for barbecues and other red meat dishes. It also accompanies smoked chicken, duck, noodles, pork, cheese, sushi, chocolate or blue cheese.
