Boasting a temperate climate and a rich history, Bordeaux has prospered for several centuries as a wine region renowned worldwide for its exceptional red and white wines. Bordeaux wines are traditionally blended wines from the region's majority grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieure appellations are regional appellations applying, both, to all wines coming from vineyard lands (excluding forest areas bordering the Atlantic Ocean and alluvial lands called "palus" ) of the Gironde department, whose surface area amounts to 48,795 ha.

Tasting

Beautiful ruby ​​color with slightly garnet reflections, the whole is brilliant. Chartron expresses aromas of plums and blueberries, but as it develops, we detect persistent notes of violet and liquorice. The palate is not to be outdone, because it asserts itself from the attack, both round and structured. This harmonious and substantial blend is rather convincing. The finish is straight and measured.
