Château Barreyres benefits from a situation of choice, between the village of the village of Arcins and the Gironde estuary. Its superb terroir of fine Pyrenean, with draining and hot floors, promoting the maturity of the grapes. With his majestic remains of the 19th century and its Margalais type terroirs, the Château Barreyres is an jewel of the Medocan terroir, a symbol of the French art of living. The morphology of the vineyard and the composition of the terroir give Château Barreyres a very elegant profile which recalls the typicity of the neighboring wines of Margaux.

Tasting

A magnificent purple dress. The very open nose exhales pretty aromas of fresh red fruits and nuances characteristic of a noble breeding. This blocker vintage with a fine and elegant character has a profile full of charm and a beautiful structure offering fullness in the mouth. The final is remarkably persistent.
