Located in France 40km north of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg appellation, Agnès and Christophe Havart have produced their red wines since 2016 by perpetuating a family tradition of more than 6 generations of winegrowers. Their property extends over just over 40 hectares, including more than 6 for Château Bidou on a 100% clay-limestone terroir. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, then fermentation in thermo-regulated tanks, with gentle cuison for about 3 weeks. Regular reassembly to extract a maximum of aromas, then breeding in stainless steel tank.

Tasting

A beautiful garnet color with a nose of black fruit that invites to tasting. On the palate the attack is centered on the small black fruit, the blackcurrant bay and the blackberry. The tannins are friendly and well melted for a final which gives room for the generosity of the fruit.
