Comment

This hilly region bordered by the Gironde estuary has a particular charm. Their beautiful color and their aromas of red fruits make the wines of the coasts of Bourg unique capable of long aging. The 10 hectares of the Haute-Brarde estate based on a clay-limestone soil in Bourg sur Gironde are the pride of Mr. Denis Levraud. Vinification according to Bordeaux tradition with natural alcoholic fermentation, control of temperatures, long cuison (18 days), 2 reassembly per day throughout the fermentation. These approaches make it possible to extract the quality of the fruits as much as possible: color, aromas and structure. Wine breeding is then made of oak barrels, a third of new wood for 12 months.

Tasting

has the eye, the Château de la Haute Lebarde shows a beautiful shiny red dress. Its intense nose has aromas of red fruits to which are added toasted and vanilla notes. His attack is frank and his tannins very present. This well -structured wine offers a silky final.
