Comment

The Lumeau vineyards are among the largest properties in Sauveterrois. From 45 hectares in the 1980s, today there are more than 120, mostly distributed around the family home, in Sauveterre de Guyenne. The clay-limestone soil typical of the region is home to the classic grape varieties of red and rosé Bordeaux wines: mainly Merlot, then Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. For white wines from the Entre-deux-Mers appellation, we find Sauvignon and Sémillon in equal parts. Some vines can reach 50 years, thus offering very high quality harvests.

Tasting

Brilliant salmon pink dress. Nose of remarkable intensity presents floral aromas of rose petal and apricot. The palate opens delicately with its flavors full of stone fruits, apricots, peaches, is supported with a beautiful length and a great final freshness. A festive wine to enjoy from aperitif to dessert on a warm summer evening.
