Comment

Founded in 1938 by Christian Labat, this family estate has a charming 48 ha vineyard, including 23 ha in Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, its cradle, supplemented by vines in Graves (Ch. Dorléac), on the other bank of the Garonne. The whole has been led since 2000 by Virginie Barbe, granddaughter of the founder.

Tasting

It is a powerful, intense wine with aromas of honey and dried fruit and a beautiful bright straw yellow color. On the palate, it is well balanced, with a very round attack and lots of aromas. On the palate, we find the authenticity of the matured, concentrated sweet wine, with exceptional creaminess and elegance which testify to quality work. Drink chilled, but not iced, with foie gras, galantines, white meats and certain cheeses.
