Comment

Planted on the heights of the town of Bourg, the Château du Bousquet dominates the 75 hectares of its superb hilly vineyard of Coteaux clay-limestones. His name comes from the term "Bousquét" or "Bouscécé". Derivatives of "wood", they gave the word "grove", and represents a wink possible to the wooded character of wine. The property was long distinguished by the famous Guide Féret, which had classified it among the three best productions of the "Vineyard of Bourges". Listed in a fairly traditional style of wine from the Côtes de Bourg, Château du Bousquet affirms the character of its wines thanks to a plot of Malbec with small grains of very exceptional quality. This "terroir" and gourmet wine profile surprises with its finesse and aromatic precision, unusual of the Côtes de Bourg and linked to the latest modern investments.

Tasting

A ruby dress with carmine reflections followed by a typical nose with powerful perfumes of black fruit and vanilla. On the palate, there is a power full of character giving a perfect balance. The attack is frank. The tannins display a good constitution and announce a persistent final. Ideal for fine cold meats, poultry, braised pork spine, beautiful grilled rib steak and spicy cuisine.
