Comment

Oak barrel, Aged for 12 months in 20% new barrels. Its name comes from the term bousquét or bousqué. Derived from "wood", they gave the word "bosquet", and represents a possible nod to the woody character of the wine. The property has long been distinguished by the famous Guide Ferét, who ranked it among the three best productions of the "Bourges vineyard". Part of a fairly traditional Côtes de Bourg wine style, Château du Bousquet asserts the character of its wines thanks to a plot of small-grain Malbec of quite exceptional quality. This wine profile, both “Terroir” and gourmet, surprises with its finesse and aromatic precision, uncommon in the Côtes de Bourg and linked to the latest modern investments.

Tasting

A ruby color with carmine reflections followed by a typical nose with powerful scents of black fruits and vanilla. On the palate, we find a power full of character giving a perfect balance. The attack is frank. The tannins display a good constitution and announce a persistent finish. Ideal for fine charcuterie, poultry, braised pork loin, beautiful grilled steak and spicy cuisine.
