At the gates of the town of Castres-sur-Gironde, at the bottom of a beautiful alley of cedars, the silhouette of Château Ferrande is drawn. Nestled in the middle of a park of rare essences, linden and chestnut trees, this elegant 19th century master's house is distinguished by its facade with many openings. An architecture through which Pierre and Light respond, giving this house the appearance of a jewel in its green setting. At the heart of this peaceful atmosphere, the rich past of the property resonates and echoes the history of the region. Because on the famous road which connects Bordeaux to Toulouse for centuries, we once made step here to ferrate the horses. This heritage continues in the name of the castle as in the passion of the beautiful gesture which animates its current owners.

Tasting

On the nose, Château Ferrande finds the perfect balance between exotic fruit scents (mango, lychee, passion fruit, grapefruit, ginger) and the vanilla notes brought by barrel farm. On the palate, the freshness and the vigor of the attack give way to an elegant seat full of roundness. An elegance that the final confirms all in finesse, through a delicate saline minerality.
