Michel Sanguigne began his journey in the world of wine at the very beginning of the 1960s. He fell in admiration of this vineyard which faced the estuary, in Bourg sur Gironde. It is a unique place and conducive to the red wines he appreciates. The Merlot quickly found its feet, and he obviously combined it with Cabernet Sauvignon to structure the whole. Over the years, he has focused on fruit and roundness, opting for aging in vats so as not to overly mark his wines.

Tasting

The ruby ​​red color is charming and clear. On the nose, we find clear aromas of red fruits. In the mouth, the initial suppleness gives way to a beautiful fullness. The flavors of red fruits (blackberries and bigarreau cherry) are very present, with a subtle touch of violet in the background. It is a convivial and easy-drinking wine, perfect with a Bordeaux steak, pâtés or duck confit.
