Comment

Michel Sanguigne started his journey in the world of wine at the very beginning of the 1960s. He fell in admiration in front of this vineyard which faced the estuary, in Bourg sur Gironde. It is a singular place conducive to red wines that he appreciates. The Merlot quickly found its marks, and it obviously associated it with Cabernet Sauvignon to structure the whole. Over the years, he has bet on the fruit and the roundness, opting for a breeding in tank so as not to mark his wines too much.

Tasting

The Ruby red dress is charming and clear. On the nose, there are net aromas of red fruits. On the palate, the initial flexibility gives way to a good magnitude. The flavors of red fruits (blackberries and Bigarreau) are present, with a subtle touch of violet in the background. It is a friendly and easy to drink wine, perfect with a Bordeaux rib steak, pâtés or a duck confit.
