Belvès de Castillon, nestled in the heart of Greater Saint-Émilion, extends over the hillsides of Castillon la Bataille, just 10 km from Saint-Émilion and 16 km from Libourne. The origin of the name of this town comes from the contraction of the Latin expression "bellus visus" or the Occitan "bello viso", which translates as "beautiful view". In 2015, the municipality of Belvès-de-Castillon obtained the “Territoire Bioengage” label, awarded by INTERBIO Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The region's wines mainly feature the Bordeaux and Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellations.

Tasting

Expressive aromas of black fruits, notes of vanilla, spicy notes of undergrowth. Full, round mouth, with fruity notes, soft tannins and a spicy flavor. Will go perfectly with red meat dishes, including grilled meats, baked beef fillet, stews, pâtés, pastas, cheeses. Serving temperature: 16 to 18°C.
