Comment

The large day castle is located on the sunny coastlines of the Dordogne valley, and stands majestically east of the Bourgeais in one of the most beautiful wine sites in Bordeaux. Edified in 1763 on the basics of an old house dating from the reign of Louis XIV, he attracted many artists at the beginning of the 20th century thanks to his majestic and unique architecture. Many famous films in French cinematography were thus shot, starting in 1981 with the TV movie by Jacques Doniol-Valcroze "Les Fiancées de l'Empire" then "Les Daughters du Master de Chai" in 1996 with Sophie de la Rochefoucauld. It was the filming location of the "La Bicyclette Bleue" TV movie with Laetitia Casta in 2000 and then the saga "La Maison des Rocheville" in 2010.

Tasting

Very deep ruby dress. The nose develops perfumes of red and black fruits and fruit pulp, followed by fragrances of griots and licorice then by perfumes that evoke coffee with milk but also a menthole character. The attack is round and fleshy, and restores these fruity perfumes with a touch of liquorice. The end of the mouth is a little firmer but without excess. The whole is balanced and present in harmony with a final in which we find these notes of coffee, roasting and cocoa.
