Comment

The story begins in 1956 when Paul and Fernande Fompérier bought their first plot of vines on the fabulous terroirs of Saint-Emilion they gradually enlarge the estate to arrive at a beautiful property surrounding the 17 hectares today. Currently this family area is in the hands of the second and third generation of Fompérier. The wines are produced in the most pure Bordeaux traditions and the harvests are handmade for greater respect for grape berries.

Tasting

A very successful cuvée. The presence of Cabernets and a little of Malbec may not be unrelated. The nose mixes the blackberry with an elegant woody evoking the praline. In the same aromatic register, the mouth offers flexible and tasty flesh, carried by silky tannins. What is called a "pleasure wine".
