Comment

Château Haut-l'Artigue is the second wine of the Château d'Eyran, from the youngest vines. The first traces of the Château d'Eyran dates back to 1317. Reconstructed on the Graveleuse coast of Mont d'Eyran, he entered the Seze family in 1796 which still owned it today. Since 1980, the management of the vineyard has been provided by Stéphane and Brigitte Savigneux joined in 2015 by their son Charles. Registered in a thoughtful approach of environmental quality, the 25 hectare vineyard is carried out with a CAP: respect for the terroir. Built in 2017, its modern cellar composed of traditional materials subtly combines functionality and aesthetics and offers the wines of the Eyran castle an exceptional setting.

Tasting

The Château Haut-l'Artigue will surprise you with its slow taste evolution, from black fruit notes to scents of vanilla, caramel and hazelnut underlined by silky tannins. Note the final, the latter offers a nice length and a certain intensity.
