Comment

Château Pape Clément, located in Pessac in the Bordeaux region, is one of the oldest wine estates in the region, with a story dating back to 1300. Emblematic property of the Bordeaux vineyard, it owes its name to one of its former owners, Bertrand de Goth, which became Pope Clément V. Classé Grand Cru in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, the castle is recognized for its elegant wine and complexes, mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties, which are distinguished by their exceptional finesse and potential.

Tasting

The wine is in the redded red of good density, with brown, mahogany, tiled reflections. Shine and limpidity are preserved. The nose seems expressive, frank and complex. We note all kinds of families of perfumes: fruits, floral, and spices. The attack is frank, round and suave, even caressing. Intense aromas first recall the complex sensations perceived in the nose. There is a scent of slightly burned leather and wood, notes of roasting. The wine shows a beautiful aromatic amplitude, the finish is of remarkable elegance.
