When the Reclus family settled at Château Pichon Bellevue in 1880, they cultivated only 2 hectares of polyculture soil. Since the estate has not stopped evolving: previously the sale of wine was made in barrels on the Place de Bordeaux, then came the first bottling at the castle in 1982. Today, Laurent naturally continues the work of his parents, Christiane and Daniel Reclus, paying particular attention to treating the 50 hectares of vines in tradition and family values, while bringing a touch of modernity. His working philosophy has always been turned towards preventive rather than curative reasoning, which makes it possible to apply reasoned agriculture based on constant surveillance of rainfall.

Tasting

It is with a sustained shade, a ruby ​​dress with purple reflections, aromas of black fruit, blackberry, prune, that this vintage is revealed to tasting by a flexible attack, a silky tannic evolution, in the middle of which we find notes of fresh leather and sweet almond, with a tender and warm final, a fine, perfectly balanced wine.
