Comment

The vineyard of Château Pouyanne extends over a very beautiful 55 hectare terroir, 40 km south-east of Bordeaux, in the town of Budos. The hill, varied, is very gravelly at the top and clay-limestone at the bottom. Environmental protection is a major issue for producers who practice reasoned cultivation (monitoring of vineyard treatments and input choice, water management and effluents, reasoned fertilization, biodiversity, selective sorting and recycling) for many years with follow -up by the Gironde Chamber of Agriculture.

Tasting

A superb garnet dress of great youth. On the nose, this bouquet of character combines a minerality well present with wrapped and soft aromas of fruit cream (blackberry, blackcurrant, morello cherry). The mouth is fatty and delicious, this generous cuvée in red fruit flavors openly favors the fruity franchise and freshness.
