Comment

In 1869 Edmond Addé, recognized by the French agricultural sector with the title of "Chevalier du Domaine", worked on the selection of high -end grape varieties and the development of the Vineyard of Château Preuillac. From 1879, the vineyard won several medals and awards. In 1932 it was included in the bourgeois wines classification created that year. Raymond Bouët undertook a major reorganization of the vineyard, the construction of a cellar and a underground cellar put into service in 1975. The 200 m2 underground cellar adopting the style of the 18th century has become a unique structure in the Médoc appellation. The MAU and Dirkzwerger families successfully bought the field in 1998. Significant renovation work is undertaken throughout the cellar and in the vineyard, which encourages the Preuillac castle to shine and excel in the pursuit of its objectives.

Tasting

This precise work gives birth to a balanced, powerful, structured and high aromatic rich bourgeois, with grilled notes, very walls red fruits. Over time, leather and animal notes will manifest. He will be able to stay more than 10 years in the cellar Les Grands Vintimes.
