Comment

The name of this wine refers to the place called Millepied in Saint-Vivien-de-Blaye, in the heart of Blayais, where Jean-Louis and Ghislaine Compain, 76 years old, run their 11 hectare vineyard, family property for 3 generations, brilliantly resisting the difficulties encountered by many other winegrowers in the region. The vines, around thirty years old, flourish there on clay-sandy-limestone soils. The wines are produced in the Côtes de Bourg, Blaye Côte de Bordeaux and Bordeaux rouge appellations.

Tasting

This traditional blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon makes it an elegant, powerful and refined wine, which will go wonderfully with a meal, particularly grilled meats and meats in sauce.
