Comment

The Château Tertre de Pezelin is a very old family property which, before the Revolution, belonged to the Mondenard family officer of the Duke of Epernon, and subsequently of several notable families in the region. He has been detained for almost fifty years by the descendants of a family of winegrowers who, since the surroundings of 1870 live in Monprimblanc. The family has always kept the taste for nature and animals that can still be wandered over in the fields and around the vineyards. Brigitte and Dominique Daumec develop and harvest the wines appreciated by the castle, and are the sixth generation of Daumec, which by their will and their application have managed to develop a family structure while remaining entirely independent.

Tasting

Coming from the Sémillon, this wine carries the mark of the grape variety in its fruity bouquet. From a straw yellow in color, it gives off floral notes, dried fruits (apricots, peaches), traces of honey and a citrus zest. Fresh in the mouth, round, very sweet, small mineral and tangy final note. Ideal for aperitifs but also on foie gras and strong cheeses. Serve between 8 and 10 ° C.
