Comment

The Médoc appellation located north of the Bordeaux vineyard, enjoys an exceptional situation on the edge of the Gironde estuary. Château Vieux Cassan has a 21 -hectare vineyard located in the heart of the Médoc appellation. Since 1984, two generations have succeeded Antoine de Fournas, perpetuating the taste for a job well done and the passion for wine, as well as a reasoned agriculture by intervening as little as possible on the development of the vine. All plots are surrounded by hedges to preserve balance and biodiversity.

Tasting

Successful dress, purplish reflections. Nose opening on perfumes of red and black fruits, earthy notes. On the palate, a frank attack with matter, tannins present in evolution but with respect for balance, final on the fruit.
