Comment

The presence of the Dupuy on the land of Pupuin dates back to the Middle Ages. Gérard, a graduate of oenology, resumed in 1995 this area acquired by his family in 1864 and led without chemical treatments in 1947. Located in the heart of the village of Puisseguin, the vines of the Château Vieux Moulin Noir occupied an area of 19 hectares on the famous Argilo-Cartaire plateau of Saint-Emilion. In the center rises the 19th century Charterhouse, the size stone walls allow its cellar to offer optimal conditions for breeding an excellence wine, a constant temperature around 13 ° C. This wine symbolizes respect for the terroir and traditional vinification methods: yeasts are indigenous and the vinifications take place without added products as required by the specifications of organic farming.

Tasting

Successful and limpid purple dress. Rich and expressive nose, delicately spicy and wooded on fruity notes of cherry and blackcurrant liqueur. Round and flexible on the palate on spicy aromas with grilled and smoked notes. Superb wine, powerful and structured, aromatic and tannic to find for very beautiful moments in three or four years.
