Comment

The Clos Castelot is the second wine of the Château Guillemin La Gafelière a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. History began in 1956 when Paul and Fernande Fompérier bought their first plot of vines on the fabulous terroirs of Saint-Emilion. They gradually expand the estate to reach a beautiful property around 17 hectares today. Currently this family area is in the hands of the second and third generation of Fompérier. The wines are produced in the most pure Bordeaux traditions and the harvests are handmade for greater respect for grape berries.

Tasting

Dark red dress with grenate, intense, shiny and limpid reflections. Nose with fragrances of ripe red and black fruits mixed with spicy notes due to breeding. The mouth shows wealth and offers a velvety texture with its silky tannins. The aromatic palette is a continuation of the nose. Beautiful aromatic persistence in the final.
