Nestled on the heights of the village of Montagnac, a few kilometers from the historic town of Pézenas, the Domaine de la Clapière is ideally located. On the sea side, the Mediterranean coast of the Gulf of Lion and the famous Étang de Thau, on the land side, the villages of Saint-Gilhem-Le-Désert or Loupian and their Roman remains. In the middle of 63 hectares of vines, wheat, olive trees and forests, a warm house whose luminous stones contrast with the park of green trees which surrounds it... Bathed in tranquility, this serene setting is ideal both at rest and at the pleasure of meeting again. The estate is like its wines, imbued with Mediterranean charm, it exudes the sweetness of life and asserts a subtle and unostentatious elegance. Since 2006 Sophie and Xavier who have brought this heritage to life with the help of a fantastic team.

Tasting

Pale color with bright salmon reflections, gray style, frank but not very powerful nose open to cranberries, fresh aniseed notes, peppermint, good balance with a medium body, nerve, the character points to fresh spices, a hint almost iodized minerality, good length, frank and sapid.
