For red n ° 1, remarkable work is carried out in the Bordeaux vineyard to identify the most conducive areas for a complete maturity of the Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon grape varieties. A real partnership with winegrowers guarantees optimal and regular quality of the fruit. From the culture of the vine to harvest, the winegrowers work closely with Dourthe oenologists. The best lots of n ° 1 red benefit from 12 months of breeding in new French oak barrels, during which the tannins of wood blend harmoniously with those of wine, bringing roundness and harmony. The aromatic complexity is reinforced by a complementary farm of a few lots in small wooden tanks of 80 hl.

Tasting

Dark ruby ​​red dress sustained. The nose is complex, combining aromas of ripe fruit such as cherry cherry, fig, with grilled touches. The attack is round, followed by a mid -mouth of remarkable elegance, with tannins present in the final but perfectly integrated, without excess. It is a classic model on a vintage, which while being warm, does not lack tension.
