Mia was born from the passion of a young and talented oenologist, Gloria Collell, who wanted to create a sparkling wine that resembles him and translates the spontaneity of her hometown, Barcelona. Helped in her work by Freixenet, a house rich in more than 150 years of know-how in the development of sparkling wines, Gloria was able to realize her dream by creating Mia, a range of sweet and light wines symbol of the effervescence of Barcelona. Developed from aromatic grapes matured in the Mediterranean sun, MIA wines are particularly fruity. A natural aromatic wealth which comes from emblematic grape varieties such as Moscato or Barcelona grape varieties Macabeo, Xarel-Lo and Parellada.

Tasting

A gourmet wine with notes of roses, lychee, and jammed red fruits. A delicate finish. To be enjoyed very fresh, struck or "on ice". Ideal as an aperitif as an accompaniment to sweet/savory tapas such as Manchego with figs.
