Barcelona Cava has been produced since the 19th century on the lands of Freixeneda, the “Ash Grove”, a large family property, bathed in sunshine and bordered by ash and oak trees. Cava can be enjoyed in the shade of the trees, while having lunch with friends, or during the hot, long summer evenings. A unique bubble is born. And a name: Freixenet. This is the start of success. Barcelona Cava is quickly exported all over the world. And the traditional family business gives birth to the 1st World Group producing sparkling wine.

Tasting

An alliance between superior quality and stunning beauty, Prosecco Freixenet is made from the Glera grape variety, harvested by hand in Veneto (Italian region emblematic of Prosecco). To the eye: A straw yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose: Lively effervescence and aromas of citrus, apple and flowers. In the mouth: A clean and bright palate with notes of lemon, green apple and grapefruit. The final note is light and fresh.
