The Cava of Barcelona was developed, from the 19th century, on the lands of Frexeneda, the "ash", a large family property, bathed in sun and bordered by ashs and oaks. You can taste the Cava in the shade of the trees, having lunch with friends, or during hot and long summer evenings. A single bubble was born. And a name: Freixenet. This is the beginning of a success. The Barcelona Cava is quickly exported worldwide. And the traditional family business gives birth to the 1st world group producer of effervescent wine.

Tasting

The dress is strawberry color, shiny. Medium -sized bubbles form a beautiful crown. With its low fermentation temperatures from 15 to 17 ° C, it is aromatic and fruity, with rich floral aromas of red fruits, grenades, dry figs and dates and a touch of laurel with good harmony which is born through maturation. On the palate, it is fresh and light, soft and attractive, and the flavors of red fruits typical of this designation of origin are present. To be enjoyed with appetizers, ideal for accompanying meats with soft flavors, rice or pasta. Recommended tasting temperature: 6-8 ° C.
