Comment

Breeding 12 months in barrels (40% new barrels). The story tells that a monastery was established in these lands. We can trust the knowledge of church men at the time to develop the best vintages. In particular, they knew how to choose the most beautiful terroirs conducive to breeding of the most precious nectars. Long abandoned, this exceptional property was obvious to Dominique Haverlan who resumed the domain by signing his first vintage in 2015. It is clear that by dint of tenacity and patience this exploitation quickly registered within this prestigious appellation. 8 ha resting on fine bass mixed with black sand on a clay-gravelle basement.

Tasting

This vintage reveals an intense dress of garnet shade. On the nose, the overall structure is deep, it suggests fine spice points as well as delicate "toasted" notes. On the palate this vintage seduces us with its attack (red fruits), the latter is flexible and distinguished. Wine offers depth and intensity. His final confirms the whole.
