Established on the two banks of the La Dordogne river, in the Dordogne department, east of Bordeaux, the Bergerac vineyard brings together more than 12,000 hectares spread over 93 municipalities. It spans terraces above the Dordogne valley and is divided into several zones. The right bank of the Dordogne is mainly made up of terraces whose floors are lined with gravel, sand and alluvium. The left bank, particularly sunny, often has a more accused relief and marked by the succession of hillsides, where limestone and clay-limestone soils predominate.

Tasting

Of a purple red shade, this wine reveals a fruity bouquet with the accents of strawberries, blackcurrants and other red fruits, an olfactory harmony which persists in the mouth, offering a tasting that is both flexible and elegant. This Bergerac ideally accompanies red meats, game, duck breasts, candied and cheeses. To serve between 16 and 18 ° C for an optimal taste experience.
