Established on both banks of the Dordogne river, in the Dordogne department, to the east of Bordeaux, the Bergeracois vineyard covers more than 12,000 hectares spread over 93 communes. It spreads out in terraces above the Dordogne valley and is divided into several zones. The right bank of the Dordogne is mainly made up of terraces whose soils are covered with gravel, sand and alluvium. The left bank, particularly sunny, often has a more pronounced relief and marked by the succession of hillsides, where limestone and clay-limestone soils predominate.

Tasting

With a purple-red hue, this wine reveals a fruity bouquet with accents of strawberries, blackcurrants and other red fruits, an olfactory harmony which persists on the palate, offering a tasting that is both supple and elegant. This Bergerac is ideal with red meats, game, duck breast, confits and cheeses. Serve between 16 and 18°C ​​for an optimal taste experience.
