Comment

Eager to offer a wine developed like the first and anxious to meet the growing demand for wines to taste in their young age for catering and wine merchants, Jean Gautreau created the Sociando-Mallet reserve. This wine is developed from grapes produced and selected by the castle, with the same working methods and the same rigor as for the great wine of the estate, it thus benefits from all the know-how of the technicians of the castle. The harvests are manual in crates, the vinification less advanced than that of large wine and a traditional breeding in tanks and 25% in new barrels make it a round and charming wine for immediate pleasure.

Tasting

Dense dress of garnet red color. Fruity nose and sea, flexible and digestible mouth, well fruity, giving off a feeling of lightness and ending with fairly fine tannins. Nice immediate pleasure. Food-wine agreements: grilled red meats, fish, meats and dishes in sauce, veal liver, small feathered and hair game.
