Eager to offer a wine made in the image of the first and anxious to respond to the growing demand for wines to be enjoyed at a young age for restaurants and wine merchants, Jean Gautreau created the Réserve de Sociando-Mallet. This wine is made from grapes produced and selected by the château, with the same working methods and the same rigor as for the estate's great wine, it thus benefits from all the know-how of the château's technicians. The harvest is done manually in crates, the vinification is less advanced than that of the great wine and traditional aging in vats and 25% in new barrels make it a round and charming wine for immediate pleasure.

Tasting

Dense garnet red color. Fruity and sea nose, supple and digestible palate, very fruity, giving off a feeling of lightness and finishing with fairly fine tannins. Nice immediate pleasure. Food and wine pairings: grilled red meats, fish, meats and dishes in sauce, veal liver, small feathered and furred game.
