10 hectares along the hillsides. Former 14th century farm of the Rivet Abbey (in Auros), Château Bastian is a 35 -hectare property on the left bank of the Garonne. Since 1988, it has belonged to Brigitte and Stéphane Savigneux who have carried out the vineyard, winemaking and marketing. Driving of the vineyard in reasoned agriculture. Manual harvest, and a traditional, thermo-regulated vinification, with frequent reassembly. Château Bastian reserve spends 6 months in oak barrel.

Tasting

Successful garnet dress. Exotic vanilla wooded nose on a background of blackcurrant and raspberry. Flexible mouth, which takes advantage of the wood-fruits balance. The tannins are pleasantly polite. A modern style that will delight lovers of wooded wines.
