10 hectares on the edge of the hills. Former 14th century farm of Rivet Abbey (in Auros), Château Bastian is a 35-hectare property on the left bank of the Garonne. Since 1988, it has belonged to Brigitte and Stéphane Savigneux who manage the vineyard, winemaking and marketing. Management of the vineyard using sustainable agriculture. Manual harvesting and traditional, thermo-regulated vinification, with frequent pumping over. Château Bastian Réserve spends 6 months in oak barrels.

Tasting

Strong garnet color. Exotic vanilla woody nose with a background of blackcurrant and raspberry. Supple palate, which benefits from the wood-fruit balance. The tannins are pleasantly polished. A modern style that will delight lovers of woody wines.
