Comment

Château Brown, formerly Château Barrière, owes its name to a wealthy wines of Scottish origin: John Lewis Brown. In 1884, Château Brown won its first gold medal at the Amsterdam Universal Exhibition. Little by little, the castle loses its superb while several families follow one another. In 1994 Bernard Barthe (businessman of the cereal industry) became the owner of the castle who experienced a renewal and important investments in both vines and in the cellar, then was sold in 2004 to Mau and Dirkzwager families. Jean Christophe Mau propelled in the 2000s the Brown Castle in the Great Court, by seducing criticism of the international press.

Tasting

Her garnet dress offers a finely wooded, roasted and coffee nose. On the palate, this wine has a beautiful balance, with roundness, typical black fruits and plum plum. Final on freshness with coated tannins that are skate.
