Comment

The Bourg vineyard is located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, some 35 km north of Bordeaux. The river water mass softens the very sunny microclimate of the hillsides. The soils are mainly clay-limestone. They are based on layers of porous stones that bring good natural drainage. Balanced, elegant, very attractive, the red wines of the bourg coasts are generous, full -bodied, aromatic and equipped with a tannic structure which makes them particularly suitable for aging.

Tasting

"The charms of Laurette" has an extremely deep dress, purple with black reflections. Elégally full-bodied, without imbalance, it expresses aromas of compoted black berries, with touches of undergrowth and spices. This selection offers a rather round and tender tannin. Diet and wines agreement: cold meats, red meat, game, cooked cheeses. Seafood, fish in sauce, gizzard salad, white meat, pies.
