Comment

The Blayais vineyard is all in valleys and hills. The hillsides, perpendicular to the Gironde estuary, are well ventilated and sunny, which promotes a healthy and ripe harvest. The proximity of water tempers the strong solar exposure (240 days of sunshine per year). The climatic and geological conditions of the terroir dictate the majority grape varieties: these dominant argilo-limestone soils have a strong affinity with the Merlot.

Tasting

A deep and soft color, a flattering nose, a floral note developing aromas of cherry. An extensive, round and very loose mouth socket, with beautiful flexible tannins characteristic of the vintage.
