Comment

One of the oldest Listrac-Médoc vineyards, very extensive in the town and thus benefiting from all the terroirs of the appellation. Mostly made up of old vines, it gives this wine the typicity of the great wines of the appellation. The Meyre family, Medocan winegrowers for 6 generations, we bought ownership in 1999 and were able to bring dynamism and renewal to extend and perpetuate the exploitation. Nathalie and Julien exploit this 20 -hectare property by combining traditional and modern technical methods, in a reasoned agriculture paths towards high environmental values. Precursors in wine tourism, they are among the first winegrowers to open their doors to tourists.

Tasting

On the nose the complexity of the aromas is surprising, there are notes close to leather, the menthol liquorice, the cherry perfumes give it a sweet finish. On the palate, thick tannins show optimal maturity, where there are spicy and vanilla aromas mixed with fruit. The mune frame is rich, silky and delicious endowed with a good length in the mouth.
