Comment

One of the oldest vineyards in Listrac-Médoc, very extensive in the commune and thus benefiting from all of the terroirs of the appellation. Mostly made up of old vines, it gives this wine the typicality of the great wines of the appellation. The Meyre family, Médoc winegrowers for 6 generations, bought the property in 1999 and were able to bring dynamism and renewal to expand and perpetuate the operation. Nathalie and Julien operate this 20 hectare property by combining traditional methods and modern techniques, in sustainable agriculture striving towards high environmental values. Pioneers in wine tourism, they are among the first winegrowers to open their doors to tourists.

Tasting

On the nose the complexity of the aromas is surprising, we find notes close to leather, minty licorice, the cherry scents give it a soft finish. On the palate, the thick tannins show optimal maturity, where we find spicy and vanilla aromas mixed with fruit. The tannic structure is rich, silky and delicious with a beautiful length on the palate.
