Comment

Located on the Médoc peninsula, 55 km north of Bordeaux, the Saint-Estèphe controlled designation is the most northern of all municipal appellations. Benefiting from a micro-climate due to the presence of two bodies of water, namely the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, the appellation also enjoys an exceptional terroir. These gravelly, the highest soils in the Medoc but also the most clayey of all the municipal terroirs, characterized by the diversity of the composition of their layers give wines all their typicity.

Tasting

This wine has a clear and shiny dress of garnet color. An elegant nose, it associates spicy (pepper) and fruity (cherry and currant) and slightly smoked notes. On the palate the freshness associated with the spicy fleshy gives this wine a certain distinction. Cachou and cherry scraps are persistent. Ideal on white and red meats and poultry. Serve at 16 ° C
