The Chiaretto Di Barolino Apellation is very recent. However, the wines protected by this PDO have a long history behind them. The word Chiaretto (equivalent to Clairet) has been used in the region since 1806. In 1968, Bardolino Rouge was one of the first Italian wines to obtain the status of doc, in recognition of its historical tradition, but qualitative developments and different production conditions justify the creation of a separate name for this type of wine. The "chiaretti" are wines with a remarkable personality, different from the fashionable Provencal rosés, with an original, distinctive taste expression. The most important grape variety is the corvina, assembling with Rondinella and Molinara.

Tasting

The Bardolino Chiaretto is the essential Italian rosé of Veneto! He presents himself to us with a beautiful coral pink color. On the nose, there is a typical wine, with delicious scent of red fruits. Fresh in the mouth, dry and fruity in nature, it turns out to be very pleasant to drink. An Italian rosé with a certain seduction potential, especially for the beautiful summer days!
