The name Chiaretto di Barolino is very recent. However, the wines protected by this AOP have a long history behind them. The word chiaretto (equivalent to clairet) has been used in the region since 1806. In 1968, red Bardolino was one of the first Italian wines to achieve DOC status, in recognition of its historical tradition, but qualitative developments and Different production conditions justify the creation of a separate appellation for this type of wine. “Chiaretti” are wines with a remarkable personality, different from the fashionable Provençal rosés, with an original, distinctive taste expression. The most important grape variety is Corvina, blended with Rondinella and Molinara.

Tasting

Bardolino Chiaretto is the essential Italian rosé from the Veneto! It presents itself to us with a beautiful coral pink color. On the nose, we find a typical wine, with delicious aromas of red fruits. Fresh on the palate, dry and fruity in nature, it is very pleasant to drink. An Italian rosé with certain potential for seduction, especially for beautiful summer days!
