The area of ​​this appellation is located in the north of the Médoc peninsula, just above that of Haut-Médoc. The term "bas-médoc", previously used, was abandoned because it was considered too negative. It is the largest area on the peninsula, representing a third of its total production. We have developed this “Baron Roc du Puits” selection by striving to find the optimum blend to extract a frank and complex wine.

Tasting

A full-bodied, generous wine which, when tasted, offers a sensation of fullness. It has a beautiful aromatic palette which plays pleasantly on licorice and red and black fruits. With excellent aging potential, it develops with age a bouquet that combines animal touches, prune or cedar. Serve between 16 and 18°C.
