Comment

Since the Middle Ages, the Pessac-LĂ©ognan region has been famous for its wines. The soils made up of gravel, pebbles and alluvium, the ridges on steep slopes, are of high viticultural quality. Blason de Montbelly comes from a rigorous selection of plots within this appellation, located in Saint-MĂ©dard-d'Eyrans. These soils have the particularity of well representing the great diversity of Pessacais terroirs and of making it possible to produce a wine of character. Plot fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting

The Pessac-Léognan par excellence. The color is brilliant and deep with ruby reflections. The bouquet is complex and distinguished, with notes of red fruits and violet, and subtly vanilla. On the palate, the tannins are silky and harmonious with a slightly woody and persistent fruity finish.
