Comment

Chateau Coustaut la Grangeotte is located in Ladaux, a rural commune in Entre-deux-Mers. The gold medal received at the Antwerp International Exhibition in 1930 illustrates the history of this vintage, which was known as one of the best in Bordeaux before the Second World War. The three successive generations have preserved the clay-limestone soil of the vineyard. Joel Coustaut works the vines there with hard work and mastery, practicing Sustainable Agriculture since 2000, respectful of nature and the consumer. He applies the quality of the raw material to his wine with mastery of the processes from the vine to winemaking, while respecting the environment and ensuring traceability and food safety.

Tasting

To the eye, the Château Coustaut la Grangeotte presents a beautiful purple color. Its nose is complex with aromas of red fruits (strawberries, blackberries). On the palate, this harmonious wine offers a round attack. As you taste it, a fleshy sensation appears, with coated tannins and persistent fruit aromas.
